Two-Tone Paint
What is the year correct paint split for each year. Some have top of each door painted white some do not. Some have also the lower section below the lowest chrome strip painted white too. My 69 that had original paint was like this. Is each year different? It seems that 70-72's were body colored above the door windows. Anybody else noticed this?

I think that '67 was the only year that top of the doors weren't painted to match the color of the roof. Generally, '67-'70 had 2nd color on roof and if 2nd color was used on the side, it was below the lower chrome strip. '71 and '72 had 2nd color roof and if the 2nd color was used on the side, the 2nd color was between the side chrome strips. That's how most were done, but I have seen some 71's with the earlier paint scheme.
