Look under the cardboard cover on the gas tank (if it is still present). You might find a second one.

Re: Found My Build Sheet

My bad, mine is about 800 numbers off on the VIN. the original paint is still visible in some spots, green and white, Fremont built sold down south in San Diego, as far as I know with what paper work I have. Thanks for posting!

Its "scheduled" birthday was 05-15-72. Even better it is a 484 deluxe two-tone with 613 Green (Avocado) Highlander Plaid trim truck too. Originally it would have looked a lot like these pictures. Jocko is going to really like this!

"Truckload Sale Production" is an interesting note to see.

I checked the back of the cardboard covering the fuel tank. I did not find anything, so just one so far.

They were supposed to be thrown away after the build was complete.

For those in "hidden" areas it was easier to just leave them in place than to throw them away.

Re: Found My Build Sheet

I had a fremont built 71 c20 and the build sheet was in between the seat cushion and springs. I still have the seat and the build sheet is still sandwiched in there.
