72 Cheyenne Super Cab and LWB Box
Hi,
Been holding on to these for a few years, just never get the time to work on all the toys. So it's time to see if anyone else can use it. The cab is super solid, only rust is in the corners and rockers. Work has been started on them and I have the new parts to come with it. Has a tilt column and I have the factory air items also. Glass has been removed and is with it also. $650 Box is wood floor and is for the most part fairly solid, little soft up in the front corners. No tailgate. No rust in the bed sides, original paint. I have another complete box that has a pretty decent steel floor, side kind of suck, would probably be useable. We'll have to talk about this box...Probably the nicest box I've seen in Iowa, in the last 10 yrs. $700 These items are up at my shop, 30 minutes away, I'll be up there this Sunday and Monday. I can send pics while I'm there for anything you may want to see. Sorry for the vague descriptions, trying to do it from memory and it's been awhile since I've touched any of this, ask questions and I'll get the answers this weekend. I have a lot of parts sitting around, and as the wife would say, I'm in one of my clear the shop kind of moods. I won't ship any of this, most is kind of big, and at this moment plan to keep the stuff I need to finish/start my truck. But the weekend isn't over either. Help me downsize some stuff, moved last fall and trying to build the new garage this spring......Miss my toy box Thanks, Troy 515-249-3009

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Cab and LWB Box
Thanks. I needed one for the '71 that has the dump bed on it. Now if I could find a decent 402 for it I'd be all set.

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Cab and LWB Box
Thanks Cash, just passing a few things on to someone that'll use them. At the rate I'm going I'd be in retirement before I got around to it. Those were just the extras being held for the 2nd or 3rd project.....Now I just have to get some pics of the old Blazer sitting in my yard, the next item on the chopping block.
I live in Johnston, toy box is up by Perry.

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Cab and LWB Box
Troy, what year is the blazer? How much do you want for it?
I am interested depending on price. Can you get some pictures?

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Cab and LWB Box
You guys are fast...lol, was over answering pms. I don't have pics right now and had planned to post this over in trucks for sale section once I get some taken, I do not have the time to part it and want it sold complete.
71 0r 72, can't remember and real didn't care much, long story on how I ended up with it. Has 1 brand new tire, 3 around 1/2...33's. Fairly new all spring lift, home-made body lift. Factory buckets, I think it has a console, roll bar( not sure if it's factory, been welded on). Trans(auto) and transfer. Looks like it might be on a later model frame, somebody with more knowledge of blazer would have to tell me. Decent probably useable front....That pretty much covered the good, the rest of the body would need some serious love, metal and a welder. I took a bunch of pics, just need to figure out what camera. I can get some tomorrow if all else fails. I was think $700, tires would bring 350-400 without trying to hard....Thanks, Troy

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Cab and LWB Box
Troy I am definitely interested in it. I have one that either needs a lot of parts or will be a parts blazer. Maybe I can make one blazer out of the 2.

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Cab and LWB Box
Troy, still have the Blazer? If so did you get any pictures? I looked mine over good today and it needs some major help. Would probably be better to get another and put my parts on that one.

Shawn, The Blazer wasn't at Troy's shop and I didn't have time to get over to where he has it stored in Johnston. If I were you I would give him a call at the number provided. He and his dad are great people and I had a good visit with them. LockDoc
