71 C10 5x4 3/4 bolt pattern conversion

What is the best way to convert the front end on a 71 C10 to the 5x4 3/4 bolt pattern? I heard you can use S-10 spindles, any truth?

Mcg big brake kits come in that pattern. Probably the easiest. That's what I'm trying to do and a s10 rear end

Why would you want 5 on 4.75"? 1/2 ton trucks are 5 on 5" or 6 lug for a reason-it's stronger considering the weight and duty of a truck vs a car.

Unless you found the super rare [and expensive 8.5 posi rear] from a 2wd or the still pretty costly ZR2 rear[8.5 posi still] why would you want to use an S-10 rear in a C-10 unless your making a pro look- a- like that won't do much go because the axles would def be the weak link. 7.5 rears aren't known for ultimate strength. I'm saying this with much love and respect for the S-dime trucks, I used to build them and do love them so I am not hating on you or your ideas or the truck.

I have a sbc s10 and it does fine. But I'm doing the s10 rear end for its narrowness. Planning on some deep dish billets. Mines a jimmy that will only be for cruising. I'm not hard on my cars

Very easy to do , both front and rear end , all using original gm parts. front ends up with 81-87 light duty spindles, calipers & ball joints, Camaro rotors , rear end works with a factory 12 bolt passenger car axle & brake drums in the truck housing, all bolt on. Pm me if you would like a detailed breakdown , I've done this one many times - Bob
