rebuilding a 6.0
I am looking at a used 6.0 ls motor that is in a wrecked 2004 Silverado HD. The price is right, but, it has 400,000 miles on it! wow! It runs like new, doesn't smoke, but should be rebuilt before swapping in my crewcab. my question is , are the LS motors as rebuildable as the old small block ?Any thing to watchout for?

6.0 rebuild
I am looking to purchase a wrecked 2004 Silverado HD with a 6.0 in it. the problem is it has 400,000 miles on it ! wow! It runs great, does not smoke, but needs rebuilt before I swap it in my crewcab. my question is, are the 6.0 LS motors as rebuildable as the old small blocks? anything that I should look for? Or should I keep looking for a low milage motor. I can get this truck cheap, after I sell off the parts off this truck, the motor should be free!
