Walker Y, and tail are still available oreillies.
Waldrons should have it all in aluminized or stainless but pricey. |

As Sharps40 said - Try Walker......They have a website where you can get a diagram of your exhaust with part #'s included. You can either order from AutoZone or Advance Auto, or even get it through Ebay if it is cheaper.
http://www.walkerexhaust.com/catalog...catalog-lookup Keep in mind, some of the part numbers may be obsolete(I believe the muffler is, but there may be a Universal). |

Pretty sure the muff an headpipe are obsolete. Walker Y and tail are still made though.

Re: does any one make a exhaust kit? 66 camper custom with 283
This is one of the ones I know of, but it is for headers.
http://www.jegs.com/i/Dynomax/289/89027/10002/-1 I believe Magnaflow makes an exhaust system, but it is stainless and a bit more $$ than the Dynomax kit above. A few years ago a member here installed a Pypes kit on his truck and it hung down too low for my liking. They may have something different now?

Re: does any one make a exhaust kit? 66 camper custom with 283
I'm planning on using the walker Y-pipe ion my truck as well, should be part number 42087.
BUT, from what I've read around the world wide web, you need to run the heat riser on the passenger side only or use a riser delete plate. Otherwise, the pipe will hit the pan. There are a number of suppliers who sell the delete rise and original style risers, if wanted. one for the 2 1/2" style ramhorns http://www.bobschevelleparts.com/195...er-emr004.html other for the 2" http://www.bobschevelleparts.com/195...te-spacer.html There are others out there, but all about the same price. Plus, there is a flat gasket between the riser and manifold and a donut between riser and Y-pipe |

Re: does any one make a exhaust kit? 66 camper custom with 283
I put in the Pypes stainless system in my truck. All in all, it was a mistake.
First - the instructions are the worst written I have ever seen for installing something to be installed, especially by a shade tree mechanic. Further, it's all written on one sheet of paper, in 6-point type, and it's almost impossible to read, much less understand. Second - the instructions tell you to assemble the system in the back of the truck and work your way forward! Of course, there's no way to do that, because there's nothing to fasten it to, and you can't even get an idea whether it's going to fit or not, because, in reality, it doesn't! Third - Their system is supposed to fit our trucks, and does not. My muffler installation man, who has 35 years of professional experience, had to custom fabricate the missing pieces necessary to make the system fit and work. Fourth - When you call their tech support line to get help, they treat you like you're a fool, and will hang up on you rather than help you. This happ Coolened to my man who does mufflers more than once. They are just plain rude. My advice is do not use them. |

Re: does any one make a exhaust kit? 66 camper custom with 283
I just had dual exhaust put on my truck earlier this year. Turned out in front of the rear wheels with turbo mufflers was just a little over $200. I asked about running the pipes all the way out the back and he said that it would be a real pain and cost more. He did a good job and I like it fine. $800 sounds ridiculously high.

I bought one of the Dynomax kits CaptainFab posted above. Nice kit, haven't installed it yet, but advertised as for our trucks. Came with all mounting hardware and exhaust pipes.
