Chevy Boat
Normally I'm a huge supporter of our people
in uniform...but...today I gotta give our Coast Guard a big thumbs down. It seems some inventive Cuban people took a 51 Chevy Flatbed Truck and rigged a raft around it made primarily of 55 gal drums. They then proceeded to cross the Florida Straits when they encountered our erstwhile Coast Guard. The Coast Guard promptly declared the Boat/Truck a hazard to navigation and evacuated the occupants and then SUNK IT! See pix below. I think they should have given these people citizenship based solely on their daring and ingenuity. Can't say much for their choice of colors though.  Jim Mt Juliet |

They must get the Discovery Channel in Cuba. Remember the school bus/ pontoon boat on Monster Garage? Both are cool!
