Best place to buy AC lines.

Did a search and only seemed to get threads about factory or vintage air setups/swaps. Just need to know where to get some hard lines for my factory AC. In particular I am looking for the hard line from the condenser to the dryer. LMC is the only place I could find online and they want to sell me all three lines around the dryer as a kit. Any help would be much appreciated. I've got a 1970 pickup with the factory AC setup.

Re: Best place to buy AC lines.

I've only seen them sold in sets.

I bought mine from Classic Industries. http://www.classicindustries.com/search/?q=ap7220
Here is a 20% discount code good 'til midnight the 17th. MDN14

They are made by Old Air which also sells them as a kit. http://www.oldairproducts.com/catalo...1030&Year=1970

You may want to give Old Air a call and see if they'll sell only what you need.

Re: Best place to buy AC lines.

Post a "want to buy" in the parts section. Should be plenty of used ones available.

Re: Best place to buy AC lines.

I bought mine at The Truck and Car Shop, package came from Old Air Products. Fit perfect. You can buy direct at Old Air Products too. The Truck Shop just marked them up 2 or three bucks each.

Re: Best place to buy AC lines.

Thanks y'all. I've looked on rock auto and they don't sell any of the lines that I can tell. All the other places still want to sell me all three lines, which I don't need. Looks like I'll need to try another route...

Re: Best place to buy AC lines.

Try a NAPA, CarQuest, A/C shop or hydraulic equipment outfit to build a custom one. Your original end fittings can often be re-used so there is a perfect fit.
