Tail lights, not working at all

69 gmc c10, none of my light in the rear are work. No parking, blinkers, brakes or reverse lights are working. They worked not too long ago... I disconnect the plug in the rear and in the firewall. Bulbs are good. I used a tester to test the fuse and it works but after all of this it doesn't work anymore? With a test light I tested the wire. Brown, dark and light green, and yellow, brown is the only wire that has power, I am checking at the firewall. As far as grounds go, is there two separate grounds one for each side? Do I need a ground to the bed to the frame? I'm lost with this

Yes, you need a ground from the engine to cab, engine to frame, & frame to bed. Are you sure you have the plugs plugged in all the way? Did you test the wires at the firewall plug for power?

All the connecters are connected, and at the firewall I tested it and only have power to the brown wire

Check you connector on the column for your turn signal switch. All circuits for the tail lights run through that. And also make sure you have good grounds everywhere.

All the circuits for the rear lights run through the connector except the tail lights.
Brakes turns and hazards including the front turn lights. Since you have power on the tail light wire and none on the turns, it makes the connector the suspect.

The horn relay ground wire also goes through it. Does your horn work?

Be sure to check the stop/turn/tail fuse in the fuse panel.

With the key on you should have power on the Purple wire, the brown wire, and the white wire when you step on the brake pedal. The purple wire is the turn signal wire, and the brown wire is the hazards wire.

Ok where is the turn signal switch is where? On the column I'm guessing? Before I did all of this, with a light tester I was getting power to that fuse but now I'm not .... And blinkers work off and on
