Truckseats
Still waiting for something, anything, maybe?????
Tim has not responded to any emails, post or PM's. Others on the board give this company great reviews, STILL waiting for any kind of response to if he received the door inserts I sent over a month ago. I PM'd as asked, I have not received any kind of response to that either... I paid Tim through a PayPal transaction as a gift, is there anyway to get that back or am I F$$Ked??? Re: Truckseats
It took about 6 or 7 weeks for me to receive my seat cover from Tim, but he told me that's about what it would take. The seat cover turned out just great. I had it installed by an upholstery shop.

Re: Truckseats
Just sent the 39th e-mail today for no seat cover or door inserts paid for and sent to the Missouri address over 2 months ago. One phone call and that was it. I paid Truckseats Tim $725.00 thru PayPal on 30 Jan 2014 for the Avocado/Parchment Highlander seat covers with a custom covered Avocado door insert covers. I originally wanted an extra yard of material to do the door inserts myself, and Tim replied with " they will cover the inserts for free, they have the best glue, just ship them to this address".I then spent $35.00 shipping for custom door inserts.
Still waiting, Casey |

Re: Truckseats
Hope this gets worked out. I have heard good things in the past about "truckseats". There is something to be said about "gifting" money for a purchase. You are out of luck now...

Re: Truckseats
Sorry for your delay. Just as a reference I ordered a black houndstooth cover and it took a little over 2 months to have it delivered. The quality is great.
I hope you get this worked out.

Re: Truckseats
Like Z10 mine took a couple months and Tim explained it going in. Sorry to hear about your troubles but Im sure Tim will stand by his deal and resolving it. I dont know him personally, just bought a set of parchment bucket seat covers. He was slow to respond but I know I was not his only customer too. Im sure this will work out and I know it is frustrating when its a large amount of money on an item. Good luck...

I left you a voicemail and an email this weekend in regards to your order. Your highlander seat cover will ship this week as well as your door panel inserts that we are covering for free with the material you purchased from us. I certainly do understand your frusteration in waiting for your seat covers. I give the time estimates I receive and then do everything I can to push the orders along when the estimate is missed. This is a very common situation with these seat covers. I deal with it daily with a majority of our customers. As a distributor I do all I can to get you your items. Thanks |

I also have no problem at all providing you or any of our customers a full refund due to exceeded wait times. Thanks

Re: Truckseats
Tim,
I did get the e-mail and sorry for missing the call and not responding sooner. Happy to hear that it is completed and on its way. I do apologize for the blast, but I did ask for a delivery date in more than one email. Casey Casey |

I found mine on ebay for around $85. Yes there is a strap that holds it in place.

Re: Truckseats
When you go to a restaurant, the parking lot is full and there's a 2 hour wait at the door. There's a reason for that. It's top quality stuff, and the people are busy.
I see that there were several emails, but still man good stuff takes time. That's why when you order $1k/ea. one off custom Billet wheels for example.. you gotta wait on them. As far as your comment about 'Better be $@%$^* perfect' I am 100% sure I can tell you if they come from Tim, they will be as close to perfect as anything on the market. My interior guy has been doing it for 30+ years and he told me Tim's covers were the best he had ever seen. I believe it.. here's a picture of my buckets I got from him. 110% the best I have ever seen and they did in fact turn out perfect. I understand your frustration and in no way defending .. just a neutral opinion to let you know Tim is the best out there. Had you ordered the cover from Brothers / LMC and it been on backorder the quality wouldn't be the same IMO. These covers you just have to see in person brother. .. hang in there, Tim's a good dude he's just a busy man. If I ever need another cover, they'll come from Tim no matter how long I have to wait. Take it easy..

Re: Truckseats
The problem lies with the manufacturer (Truck World). Every vendor that sells that brand of seat covers has told me they are extremely slow in putting out their covers. Some have even said they stopped carrying them and just carry PUI now due to customer complaints.
