grs Registered User Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Roanoke, Tx. Posts: 1,561	Alternator belt squeaks My alternator is adjusted as tight as it can be. Has a new belt. I could get a shorter belt but the alt hit the valve cover when I put the new belt on. I could not get a shorter belt on. Does any one sell a longer arm so I could adjust it tighter? Attached Images
