Grill question.
I have 99' CCSB, it currently has the chrome Chevy grill I am planning on changing it over to a painted GMC version.
There is a painted filler between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the grill, does anyone know if they are interchangeable between the Chev/GMC?

Re: Grill question.
If your GMC grille is 94+, you won't need to change it. They fillers are the same to my knowledge. The 88-93 grilles do not use one and they use different bumper brackets (bumpers are the same).

Re: Grill question.
When in doubt, refer to a parts catalog
http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cd/full.aspx?Page=20 88-93 is one style 94-99 is another. Remember in 99 there was OBS and NBS |

Re: Grill question.
The only grille parts that don't interchange between Chevy and GMC are the sidemarker lenses (as long as you're sticking with the '94-'99 GMC).

Wasn't telling you to not ask a question

The other reason I said that was sometimes you (anyone) could be in a relative hurry and can't always wait for the CORRECT answer. If that's not a good enough explanation, I'm sorry for trying to point you in a direction that gives you another source of information. Hopefully you could use a parts catalog for other types of questions pertaining to body parts and such. |
