Yard Dog project
Ive got this 4wheel drive 66 3/4 ton. It has a divorced transfer case and a high and low range in the transfer case. it has 456 gears. I need a yard dog wrecker. So ive gathered the parts. I have a Detroit locker no spin for the rear. also set of dual rear wheels. Ive got rust free inner fenders and good usable radiator support. Crome grill from a 60. I have fenders on a 66 school bus and am planning on trying to use them. Pull the fleetside and install a home built wrecker hoist sling & flatbed. Its powered by a intergrated head I bbl carb six. Has any one fitted power steering to one of thes 4 wheel drives? Its gonna be a built from hodge podge assortment of parts. and in not gonna paint or primer any thing. multi color assortment of parts. now that Ive got my Zombie truck driveable This is next on the agenda.

Re: Yard Dog project
The shipping would be a killer on the grill. I remembered I had a 60 hood over at my other place. So I just went and retrieved it. Its kinda rusty but just because? Ill use it on this project.

Re: Yard Dog project
Yes indeed. We are now out of debt. I am now drawing a monthly check from the Social security Ponzi scheme. Ive been collecting for real and building this junk in my head for decades. I would spend time thinking about getting to play with my stuff when herding a 18 wheeler down the roads. I having a great amount of fun it makes some folks mad & jealious. Mainly my family who are so deep in debt they cant retire. It used to be fun telling folks NO its NOT For SALE. now I realize I at best have 10 more years left where ill have a handle on it. So ive been letting some stuff go.
