Are you Sad when one goes away ?

I sold my 68 GMC 1500 LWB this week, got it over 10 years ago from the original owner. I decided to let it go last year when I picked up a clean one owner 71 with more equipment. The guy who bought it seems to be a good guy and I hope he has as much fun with it as I did ? I am a little sad to see it go ,but need the cash to bring this little guy home from Florida....

They are not real rare, but this one has been owned by a well renowned road racer from the 50's. He raced Porsche's and Lotus in the Southeast. I am 6'4' and fit in it ok, you are only about 4' off the road though....

I did have a B/GT in high school! Bought it from a classmate with the "transmission gone", turned out to just be a u-joint. Fun car that led me later to a C/GT, and eventually (ahem) faster, better sporting cars.

Enjoy it, it looks great!

Cool. They were new when I was in high school. My Dad gave me a '60 Ford Country Sedan station wagon with a 390 BBF -- in no time I lost control of it and ran into a brick wall. Totalled. In the doghouse for a couple years. Then he sold me his '61 Mercedes 190B sedan and I drove the hell out of it thru college until I blew up the motor. Then I bought a used '68 Chevy truck [ at 23] and I've still got it.
Actually, I've never parted with one of my Chevy [or GMC] trucks, so I can't say what it would feel like.
