Newb Question…. HELP!

Hey gents, So i bought myself a set of what i thought were the stock 1960s steel 15" rims… I was planning on putting the original GMC hubcaps on em, but when i get the rims, they have these little tabs on em..


So my question is… What kind of hubcap fits this rim?
Will this fit? since it has the lip on it?


Or does it work with the older smaller ones with the lips? like this?

I believe this is the correct style hubcap for the '60-'61 GMC, this style requires rims with the clips to hold them on. Here is a rather helpful link on correct GMC hubcaps & some rim info for '60-'66 GMCs as well.

My apologies, when I first read your post I assumed wrongly that you had a 1960 GMC, not a '62. So the hubcap photo I posted was not correct, the photo you show is correct for '62 hubcaps, but you will need the clip on version of that hubcap to fit your rims. See 1963c-10's post thread link above for help on identifying the right hubcaps needed for your rims.
