Anyone used a Caprice fuel tank?

I've seen a couple installs with a '69 Camaro fuel tank under the bed with a filler through the license plate. Being a bit of a cheapskate, I've noticed local junkyards often have plenty of '80s and '90s Caprices - with a similar fill location, and they make a good donor for a flip down license plate bracket to boot. Before I hit the yards to measure one, has anyone tried this before and have any information on whether it works or doesn't work?

Re: Anyone used a Caprice fuel tank?

I think I looked at an 80's impala and the tank was pretty wide. Don't remember the measurement though.
