i was just wondering what you guys that have bench seats do for cup holders, i almost alway have something to drink with me and i dont have cupholders in the truck what could i do, i would like pics if anybody has them.

I saw those in a year one catalog. Does it get in the way of the 4-speed shifter?

Personally, i always have a one liter of dew with me and just put the cap back on and set it on the seat. The few times that i am drinking out of a can, I just set it on the dash leaning against the windshield.
Didn't some one on here cut a hole in his seat traced around a can?

step 1: buy a new roll of duct tape
step 2: put it on the floor
step 3: insert beverage

works great, and if it is a new roll it even holds a really bid drink, as long as its the ones with the small bottom.....and you always have duct tape handy for emergencies too....!

and if you want you could probably put it on the seat

On a lot of the 99 chevy truck seats there is a cup holder on the seat. You could get one of these and mount it to your bench.

It should be pretty easy and cheap

I put mine on the dash aginst the window like longhornmail dose. it is the easiest and on bumpy roads the can stays there.:p

If you put it on the dash, don't launch the truck when the light chainges...I did tit this morning without thinking about it and had to wear Mountain Dew on my uniform all day at the shop.
The wasps seemed to like me today too.

I used a couple of yellow industrial electrical wire supports which are about right size for the 32 oz. styrofoam cups. They don't work on the small, narrow bottomed cups or the larger double walled cups with molded handles. Used an old ashtray and drilled and mounted them using the threaded rod molded to the plastic. Painted them gray to match the interior. Work great except if you change radio stations a lot. I can do a pic if interested but don't have one loaded in files at the moment.

i got to thinking and i might go find a seat out of a 97 up dodge with the huge center consoles that fold up.

My seat cover has pouches across the front I use the one in the middle for a cupholder. Funny thing is it took me more than a year to figure this out.

highboy, Will try and post a pic or two within next couple days. Nothing elaborate about them but they work good for the throw-away 32 oz. styrofoam cups. Maybe I should patent them and get rich, retire, go on easy street, buy more trucks......mmmmm !

i went to pepboys and bought a cupholder/slash seatconsole for about 10 bux. sets in the seat beside me and i don'thave to worry about spilling anything when i wanna get on the gas

In an old car I had, there was a cup bolted to the floor. The seller told me that was where he put his pop when he drove it. It worked great if you drink from a can...but a can seems too much like a shot to me...or maybe an airline bottel.
