86 thunderbird rack & pinion question
Hi everyone.
I have put a 86 t-bird rack in my 67 stepside but now I have to connect the high pressure and return hose to the pump. got the idea from the hollister road company http://www.thehollisterroadcompany.com/rackpinion.html Problem is can someone tell which connection on the rack is the return (upper or lower) and which is the high pressure.

Stop by your Local Ford dealership and ask an older mechanic would be my first move.

Re: 86 thunderbird rack & pinion question
I changed a rack in a Mustang, from the same era, the other day.
The pressure hose was the lower, return the upper.
