What hubcaps are these?

Hey guys,

These are the hubcaps on my truck. ITs in being repaired right now, and they need to replace one hubcap and trim ring. They don't know what specific year these come off.

Anyone know for sure?

Cheers,

Ryan

Re: What hubcaps are these?

It's funny how terminology changes over the years. When I was young those caps on the actual hub were hub caps, and what you have were wheel covers. lol

Re: What hubcaps are these?

My mailman put a set of these hubcaps on his US Mail truck. I've been wanting to nab a shot of it. He said they're off his '67 Chevelle

Actually, wheel covers are what covers the wheel and these cover the hub, which is why they've always been called hubcaps. What you show is a spindle cap because that's all it covers of the hub. I've also heard them called bearing caps.

Re: What hubcaps are these?

Grease capped in,dust capped out, spindle and bearings capped from the elements, and dog pee capped out...although I've never heard of them called dog pee caps.

I remember when Maryland State Troopers would swap other wheel covers on their cruisers. I should have taken pictures...thing of the past
