New member from Norway!
Its my first American car! My interest are old Aircooled VW's!
Have always liked old Chevy pickups, so now its the time where i just have to try how it is, not just look at pictures!

I have bought -67 C10 Fleetside Shortbed that has recently been imported to Norway from California!
The funny thing is that while I was on Vacation in Los Angeles last October! I did go to check out Long Beach HiPerformace Swap meet! And I saw that C10 there and even took a picture of it!

And now several month later it was for sale in the area where i live! So a guy had bought it and imported it to norway! So then I just had to take a closer inspection and really see how it was! It ended with a sale too me!

I have now had it for a few days, and been cruising around in the streets of Fredrikstad trying to learn more about my new car! Its quite different from what I am used to drive! Have to say its fun!

What I know about it so far!
- 350 engine with edelbrock inlet and Carburator
- TH400 Transmission
- 12 Bolt Rear Axle
- 2" or 2,5" drop spindles with Disk brakes
- 5" rear springs from CPP
- 20" American Racing wheels, 255/35-20 and 295/40-20

Plans for it are.
- Lower it a bit more, goal are 5.5" front and 7" rear
- Move fuel tank under bed.
- Improve Handleing! I know its not a sports car!

- enjoy it and see what other that come up as days go by!

So any tips for the things above are welcome!

Its nice to have a truck to move some VW-parts!

Found out that it has the stock rear axle with 6-studs! So there is an adapter from 6-5 to 5-5! Have to do something about that!
Dont know if its possible to re-drill to 5-5 or is it just easier to just buy new axleshafts?

Good choice. I would go with screw in studs instead of press in wheel studs.

Greetings from Montana, USA! Very nice truck. I have to ask though, why go through the hassle of moving the fuel tank? It's unlikely to pose a safety problem and you'd have to deal with patching the cab hole for the fuel neck and painting to match. The juice doesn't seem worth the squeeze so to speak.

Thanks! Its fun to drive, but its a little bit twithcy on the road! Can be many reasons for that!
Want mostly to move the fueltank to get a little bit of extra space in the cabin! Sure I know its just stupid to "fix" something that aint broke! Its many things I want to do before it happens!
First I need a new gasket or a new fuel-cap! Its spilling out some fuel when turning to the right!

Hmmm... The Wheels I thought where American Racing turned out to be Rev - Wheels Classic 100 series! http://rev-wheels.com/rev-wheel.cfm?id=5838&cat=1270
I just believed it was AR because of design and center-cap!

Because I am going to rebuild rear axle to 5x5, now its 6x5 with a huge adapter to 5x5! So I was checking for model-number to see if other width and backspacing are available and found REV-100! First I just thought it was a AR model number, but with a google-search it wasn't so!
Wheels are 20x8 and 20x9.5, so I am going to sell them and get another set!
Not sure what i want at the moment! But its going to be with better backspacing for -67 short rear axle and with a fatter lip!

At the moment there are no wheels on my C10! Sold the 20" Rev wheels!
So now its like this!

My plan is to get rid of this 5 cm/ 2" adapter, so a have ordered a5 bolt axle kit with new drums from CPP!

Got a set of 15x7 truck rally wheels, but they are only temporary! If I am going to use them I need to get them wider! But I have to see what i can afford!
Other plans is getting Lowering kit from ECE, 2" springs in front and 6" rear, with new shocks and relocation kit and also supertrackbar! Already got dropspindles in the front!
Will also get a C-notch kit to allow more travel!

Welcome and nice truck 4 sure. Take more pictures of the truck in areas like the ones you already did and also tell us about "what's behind the truck". We can not only enjoy looking at your cool truck but also checking out Norway's cool scenery at the same time.
