Smile In this months issue of CCT mag.

Hi Gang,
In this months issue of CCT mag (Sept 03) is a section on rare options on 67-72 trucks. The one that blew my mind was the cruise control. I never knew 67-72 came factory with them, it says this is a very rare unit to find.

I got the mag too.
Factory cruise control is rare but I don't think it's as rare as factory shoulder harnesses.
There are a few people here that have factory cruise but I haven't heard of any with the harnesses.
Did you see the write-up about the LED tail and third brake light set-up?

."I went to the junk yard yesterday to look at some things. On a 70' I Think, the drivers side inner fender skirt, there was this box maybe 6 in. by 6in made by Eaton that had a speedo cable going in from the dash fire wall, and then another one going down to the tranny? What was this? I thought maybe a tach setup or a cruise control box.

cruise control, if you decide to buy it, make sure to get the
button that activates it, wwheather it be the blinker knob or an under dash button. also the vaccuum switch that bolts to the brake pedal setup, it is what turns it off

Thanks......What would be the most I should buy this thing for if everything is there, and the most if only the box is there?

Actually, my 71 Burb has factory shoulder belts, I never knew how rare they were til I read about it in another post a couple months ago. Mine are like brand new, except for being a little faded, as I dont think theyve ever been used.
