You guys think this is a good price for this 70 4x4 Suburban?
I was searching around Craigslist and found this, I really like it and it looks clean as hell. I also love the 4x4, I just want to know if this is too much for the truck.
Here is the Craigslist post http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/4365701967.html |

Looking at it on my iphone (small screen), it looks pretty clean/straight. That would be a good deal where I live (California).

I like it. I just don't know why it only has 3 doors?

It's nice, but like the seller says "it's a driver quality Suburban".
He may get that number he is asking due to the location, but to me it seems a bit of a premium price for where I live. Welcome to the forum by the way!

All Suburbans from 1967 through 1972 have 3 passenger doors.

In my local you'll spend 4-5K on a rough driver and easily spend thousands more making it a decent driver.
I think that one is fairly priced

I'd jump all over that!
I don't think I have ever seen a Burb of such vintage anywhere (in person) before. |

I really love the 67-72 trucks, and this is like the only one I can find with 4x4 even though it is not a pick up I still love it. zi just don't want to give him more than it's worth.

I'd love to have that! Prices go up man. If you like it, and it works, buy it. If you let it pass, you'll never find it again.

Nice truck and I would say worth asking price if you live in St L. MO.
You could wait and maybe get better truck or price but come on, what are you really saving? It will only cost you a grand to have one shipped from out west. My opinion is it looks like a nice truck and a good deal. |

Apparently I got a good deal on my '70 when I paid 1800 for it.
