Who Knew!
So there I was, filling up the Sequoia (paying the same 3.95/gal I paid for diesel the night before), standing at the pump, completely bored since in Commifornia they are outlawing the pump handle locks. Getting sick of staring at the wallet rob-o-meter, I glanced at the pointless ads and labels adorning the island. Then I noticed this one! Huh! Who knew ARCO GASOLINE could actually restore lost fuel efficiency in DIESEL engines?! So, if I want my nozzles to be as clean as the one in this picture I should run a tank of ARCO Gasoline, right?
But all silliness aside, The fuel pump in the Dodge went poo poo in the driveway a few nights ago, and since all things OE Cummins must come from the man in the brown van, I figured why not see if there was an upgrade pump sensitive enough to work with the VE. And then, why not start a thread for all the experienced Cummins modders to post do's-and-don'ts of mods and swaps. Any suggestions on what pump I should run? There has to be a better option than the 80 dollar 3904374. And while you're at it, where can I get the plastic bushings to rebuilt the throttle pivot cluster?
