went junkyard shopping today

While I wait for the work season to begin, I decided to use one of the few days off left to go junkyard shopping. Although There isn't much uncrushed squares left in cold snowy Canada I found an old scrap yard back in the country hills that still had a couples of them. I was looking for a set of manual hydraulic pedals and the steering column that goes with it.I did not find a decent enough column but I stumble across a late blazer K5 I believe that had a super clean set of vent windows and nice inside doors handle. Got the whole deal for 100$

its way more popular to restore or maintain old trucks/cars in u.s. so they know what they have and ask for a higher price. here those parts would have ended up in the crusher if it weren't from me .

Wrecked, you sir are a trooper.... I won't even think about a salvage yard unless its pleasant and sunny. Oh and it can't be muddy either.... No way in hell would a snow shovel be in my bag of tools....
