Re: What gasket quadrajet to edelbrock dual plane intake
You need a spread bore to square bore adapter, not just a gasket.

Re: What gasket quadrajet to edelbrock dual plane intake
Was it the Performer intake for spreadbore carbs? If so, you need a gasket to match your particular quadrajet carb. Some are different than others.

Re: What gasket quadrajet to edelbrock dual plane intake
Yes. Make sure its for your model number of qjet. Pull the numbers off of the qjet itself since these trucks are old enough that someone could have swapped out the stock carb years ago.

Re: What gasket quadrajet to edelbrock dual plane intake
That works too. Many base gaskets to choose from. Look here... http://quadrajetparts.com/rochester-...s-c-25_37.html
EDIT: Just remembered, Fast N Loud had an episode where their rebuild kit included the wrong base gasket on an old Buick if I remember right. Wouldn't start. Swapped for the right one and vrooooom!
