How much is my truck lowered help

I Bought this project 72 and it was already lowered , I want to buy shocks for it but don't know how much it's been lowered so I can get the right shocks . My rear end has 2.5 inches before it bottoms out on the frame , and rear end is above the leafs . Can some one tell me what stock height is or how much it's been lowered , going to keep it lowered Thanks in advance

Flip kits usually = 5-6" of drop. Measure the height/thickness of the spring pack where the rear end sits & add 1.5" to get the approx amount it was lowered.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

You can also measure the distance between the mounts on stuff you dont know the history. Then go to the listing on the shock and look at the extended and compressed length. You measurement at ride height needs to be about in the middle of the two measurements from the shock.
