I,m trying to figure out where to hang my exhaust from the rearend out to the rear, how far does it hang down, does it run along the frame by the gas tank ?,where to put the hangers? There are a couple of blazers running aroun town but all their ex. run in fr. of the tires. Is a 78 if that makes a difference

Re: pic request for full ex.at the rear?
Are you trying to recreate stock or just install a good exhaust? Inside the frame rails and 90 degrees out the side under the rear leaf spring shackles is a good starting point. It doesn't have to be 90 degrees, you can do 45 for a swept tip look. The big nono is straight out the back, you'll get tons of exhaust gas recirculation inside the cab if you do this and drive with the back window down.

Re: pic request for full ex.at the rear?
I just want full dual exhaust, just the gas tank is so big I don,t see how you can go inside the frame,if you had to remove the tank one day you,d have to take off the ex. and I don,t want it hanging too low.Is a lowered 2 wheel dr.Even a pic of stock ex. is good ,at least I can see where they are going.

Re: pic request for full ex.at the rear?
There are some pics of my exhaust setup in the thread linked in my signature line. Exhaust routes over the rear axle and out behind the rear tire at a 45. The pipe is probably 3 inches or so outside the tank on each side. Lowered w 4" drop leafs.

This is the passenger side rear wheel well, the sequence of pictures goes from the front of the wheel well to the back.
