What Trim Level is my truck?
Is there a way to decode what trim level my truck is?
Im not sure if its a Custom/20 or a CST/20, and the truck did not have and SPID. I found the remnants of one stuffed in the seat, but the Serial # does not match that of the truck. It has the holes for the lower plastic or wood grain molding so I know its at least a Custom or CST, It has AC. The seats that came in it look like the CST bench seat, but I do not think they are original since I found a different SPID stuffed in it. Are there any other special options or anything that will specify which trim level it is?

Re: What Trim Level is my truck?
Looking at your glove box door, it says Custom and not CST.
Do you think that isn't right? "The lower body trim had black banding on the Custom models and wood grain banding on the CST models."

Re: What Trim Level is my truck?
The glove box door would/should say CST if it were.
And, if it were a CST, you'd also have (upper trim I think) and a tailgate like this:

Re: What Trim Level is my truck?
In 69, The Z84 CST package included a rear cargo light. The Z62 Custom package did not.

Re: What Trim Level is my truck?
Ok thank you everyone. Looks like I have a Custom then.
I did not want to trust the glove box door, since I did not know if the previous owner just slapped that on there or not. It has holes for upper and lower trim, but the tailgate says chevrolet and does not have the wood grain. It also does not have a cargo light. Now i need to decide what badges I want to put on it. I can get some brand new Custom/20 badges, or I also bought a pretty nice set of C/20 badges off of ebay. I personally like the look of C/20 vs. Custom/20 on the side of the truck.
