Nice looking Wrecker.

I notice that it has 10 Lugs on the Front Wheels instead of 5. Wonder if they added the extra's ??

I never saw a C-50 with 10 before.

Edit: OK, now I see Spokes on the Rears. Someone did some reworking to it for sure.

That's nice! I wonder if it's a former fire truck with those running boards and wheelbase. I see some reworking, too. They say it is a '69 but I'm seeing '67 with no side markers and 67/68 with the cab lights and hood emblem. "If you have any questions please call...". Ok,I have one to start with, how much do you want for it? t least he didn't say "serious inquiries only". I've seen that before...no price and serious inquiries only. Need to know how much to decide if you're serious, right?

I believe you are right Tim, does look like a former Fire Truck. I also missed the '67 indications. Mileage could be original in this case ??

Re: "Not mine" 1969 C50 wrecker CL ad

Seems likely,if it is. It's a good one and ready to roll...according to seller. Maybe it was a tanker and got beefed up by the fire apparatus upfitter? I wonder if the tool box up front was part of the body of it was a pumper and they cut it down.

I have a guy near me who runs a used truck body upfitter business that does stuff like this. That's where my '71 C/30 NAPCO got stolen from when I had him remove the utility bed when i sold it and had him looking for a single wheel contractor dump body/hoist for it. I bought a '65 C/50 that he pulled the horse van body off of to put on a new (back in mid-90s) C6500 for the dealership that sold it. He buys box vans and converts to garbage trucks or anything you want. Stretches/shortens frames, you name it.
