Hi there, I'm Chris

Well the title says most of it. Name's Chris, I live in the other large(ish) city in the Evergreen State - Spokane, WA.

I'm driving a 1970 GMC C10 Custom 350 4 speed. All the pictures on my phone are too large to upload but I'll post some in the future. Suffice to say it's very "original".

I've owned the truck for about 8 months. I bought it off a former coworker/mechanic for next to nothing after I wrecked my car and needed a quick (temporary) fix. I fell in love with it and haven't wanted to buy anything else.

Glad I found you guys! I look forward to getting advice and hopefully contributing some as well.

Re: Hi there, I'm Chris

Quite frankly, I do not see the need to buy a new truck when decent trucks of our vintage may be found for daily driving and use. Let's see: new truck will run 20 to 50K. 1967 to 1972 truck, even fully restored, 20K, and it's simple enough to be fixed by a novice with basic tools. I'll take my 1972!
