LSX454 question

I'm in the process of purchasing a LSX454 for my 67' c10, my question is which company offers the better ECM/ wiring harness? I've been looking at Texas-speed & Southern performance. Any info or suggestions would be great help thanks

Re: LSX454 question

How about a GM dealer...like Pace Performance or something? Unless the stock 620hp (or whatever it is) isn't enough...there's always the LSX454R.

Re: LSX454 question

Just have one made by someone like fuelinjectionconnection or any of the other qualified makers. Most will source an ECM for you, but afaik you can source another GENIV pcm and have it setup for your 454. It uses most of the same sensors as the others, just has greatly different fuel requirements etc. Some of the aftermarket ECM's don't support DBW, and others don't support any of the trak control system (if you care).

Whatever you do, with that engine DO NOT GET IT MAIL ORDER TUNED.

Re: LSX454 question

Take a look at turnkeyengines.com, mild to wild, how thick is your check book?
