Based on the trim ring I predict 8" wide.

Re: Found and cleaned up these rallys. how wide are they?

Those are definitely 8" rallies. The 7" rallies are kinda weird looking, I think they have less backspacing.

Those center caps look nice man, hold onto those even if you dont use them.

I got my set from a from a guy at a garage sale. He had a square body suburban that he was always trying to keep running and for some reason couldn't.

I pulled up in my 84' shorty , I had seen the set of wheels setup in his yard, and asked him how much he wanted for the rims. He kinda took me over to the side and he wife was saying not to sell them cheap. But he really liked my truck and I always waved at him when I drove by.

He told me $40 bucks and they're yours. I don't think I have ever reached for my wallet quicker than that. And oh man was his
Wife pissed.

They were clean as a whistle, no rust, all the rings and caps, and even had some worn but decent tires on them still. Way too small of tire for my taste though.

His wife was hot too, but kinda *****y.

Re: Found and cleaned up these rallys. how wide are they?

I went and got some measurements for you CleanSquare..

The first pic is the point at which I measured from ( up against the outside wall, down against the angled part where the rectangular holes are)

Seems they are right around 3 1/2'' from that spot to the outside lip, if you were looking perpendicular to the measuring tape.

I know you still have tires on them so this is how you could tell they are 15x8''

I guess I could've done it from the backside and it would've been easier.... Oh Well

I had mine sandblasted when I started to take the truck apart, and I sprayed them down with a self etching primer so they wouldn't rust.

I love the way they look black but I also love the stock Grey/silver color too. Decisions decisions

Cool, thanks for the measurements. They look good in black. I bought this set from a guy on another board for $100, he made sure it had all the chrome metal caps and rings for it, although one ring is different. Its a car ring.

My dad swore these were 7" so I had to prove him wrong.

I kinda like those rings better, the one that is mismatched. I like the way they look more square and flat, not so big a bulky

Ah - I see it now. Looks like a 7" Corvette rally trim ring.

I wish there was a way to put rings on w/out scratchin the rim up.

If I get mine painted or powder coated I don' think I will ever go back to rings, cause if I do I will always have to run them.

I love the way this these rims look w/out the ring and blacked out with just the center cap. NASCAR-ish
