Re: has anyone ever seen this wood steering ??

The walnut is 68 Camaro
Rosewood is 69 Camaro
There's two 68 wheels
Early is deep dish. Later 68 and 69 wheels are shallower

Re: has anyone ever seen this wood steering ??

Very hard to find
My last Camaro had a eBay aftermarket corvette wood wheel with the gm hub and cap, my wife was shocked that I sold it with the car!
Been contemplating ordering one for my truck but am putting in a 67 nova wheel.
The eBay vette one is nice, little fatter wood and smaller diameter.

You do realize that is a plastic rimmed wheel right?
For what it is worth early 69 Camaros with the RPO N34 wheel actually had a walnut grain carried over from 68.

Yeah,I don't believe that's the OEM wheel pictured. I can't say where to go for one exactly, but that's a readily available wheel. Looks great!

SS Tim is right, I knew it was something like that, my buddy has two early 69 z28's, I remember him being all excited at the swap meet when he found one.
I really like the black compfort grip one too

Lmc has the Chinese grant version, please don't buy that ugly thing,
You need the wheel that uses the gm hub and horn cap .
U see amateur rest flippers build nice camaros for sale then put the $59 wheel in. Barf, I walk right by.

Re: has anyone ever seen this wood steering ??

The wheel pictured is a reproduction 67 68 camaro deep dish the 69 was not as deep , my 67 camaro has the original walnut wheel it looks a lot different than the repops and yes they are plastic , a nice 67 68 wheel used to be $300 to $500 I've seen the 69 wheel sell for more than that ,, repops are in the $200 range ,,

I have an after market one that is very similar to yours, but not nearly as nice. I have no idea where mine came from, but I do think Grant wheels make one similar.

Grant's. 470-926. Is a nice 16" real wood wheel that replicates the Chevy wood wheels
