Value of a solid 53 gmc 1 ton tilt bed
So ive came across a friend of mine who has a 53 gmc 1 ton stashed in a barn locally. Havent seen the truck yet but he claims its only got surface rust and no damage. All original with a hydraulic flat bed. Hasnt been ran in 10 years but had no issues when parked. What would the range of value be in this if i grabbed it to either bring back to life or rob the cab and front and covert it to a 1/2 ton regular truck?

Around here a truck like that is worth 2500 to 4000 dollars if it is presentable and runs and drives and the hoist works just for what you can do with it. they are still work trucks here.
