Restored Tach/Vac Cluster

Just finished putting it together. Added repop Tach and Vac, white face gauge kit and black lettering kit. Looks quite sharp if I do say so myself! Sourced a OEM 80 lb oil pressure gauge and stock vacuum gauge.

Re: Restored Tach/Vac Cluster

I used white satin paint on the inside instead of the green GM color. For the back, I took some others recommendations and just bead blasted it to bare metal and clear coated it.

That looks great. Did you get the lens off of evilBay?

Re: Restored Tach/Vac Cluster

Love the white! and the tach! I was just driving mine around last night and wondering what type of RPMs I was getting. That is definitely something I will modify on my truck!

Re: Restored Tach/Vac Cluster

Yes Leon the lens came from ebay. I bought both the lens kit and white gauges from 'whitegauges'. I was very happy with the white gauge conversion. The lens was quite a challenge, white reflective sticker/decal was easy, but the lettering was tough to get bubbles out. So i just cut out the lettering individually and applied them, took longer, but looked way better. We will se how they hold up.
