Anyone have any longstep pictures?

According to the VIN on my 69, it was a long step. I'm thinking of returning it to a long step but I've never seen one... Does anybody have any pictures of some?

Thanks,
Tink

That crewcab in the first pic looks awesome!

Here's another one I found on e-bay, it's an "ultra rare" one , not the best angle but...

They're not that rare, just harder to find, I have a complete disassembled bed in my basement and another one in a parts truck.

What years were the long step bed available? I'm thinking it went into the mid 70s? I was thinking of changing mine over to a long step.

The longstep in the pic that racedvl posted is rare, it's a 1 ton with a 9" bed. I've only seen 1 in person and not very many pics of them.

i know for a fact that they offered stepsides 67-72, at least for GMC. there is a pretty clean 72 GMC longstep for sale down the road. i have seen a few 73 up long steps, but they are rarer than chicken lips.

How long exactly is the long step? I'm goin to get an 81 stepside, but I dont think it looks as long as those, and the owner doesnt think it's the original bed. Wouldnt doubt it

The wood in a longstep is 97" long, the bed is 100" overall.
