Dana 60 questions
Anyone know what year truck this style of dana 60 came out of? Supposed to be out of a 67-72 but those bumps stops look funny to me.

Re: Dana 60 questions
My '72 C-20 "Custom Camper" has the exact same one. 3/4 ton leaf spring setup. Not sure which other years could get them.

Re: Dana 60 questions
Bump stops are correct, should have 7 bolts holding the backing plates on. Also if the wheel studs are 9/16 then it is a 71-72. 1/2'' studs are 1970 and earlier.

Re: Dana 60 questions
Thanks guys, I really needed to make sure it was a 67-72 rearend. I'm using it in my 1938 mud bogger and the bearing sizes on these match the willwood aluminum hubs. I can bolt an aluminum wide five kit right on and drop about 60lbs a side.

Re: Dana 60 questions
The BOM number stamped in the right tube will tell you all you need to know about the axle at birth.
