sold my '70, and got a newer one...

Charlie Coleman from this board (great guy by the way!) bought my '70 C10, and on the way home from meeting him in Salina, KS I bought a newer one. Thought I would post some pics for you all.

It's a
'88 model
'96-'97 front end, phantom grill
lowered 4"/4" with all bell tech
fairly new 350 TBI with small torque cam
coated JBA headers into single 3" pipe, no ctas and soon to be Flowmaster muffler and 3" single out. Nice..not loud.
BFGoodrich tires and Billet Specialties wheels
TDS Custom paint (same guys that did mine)
billet inlays inside
bucket seats out of a newer tahoe
truck has a total of 105,000 miles, just over 33,000 on motor
700r4 with 2.73 limited slip rear

AC!!!!!!!!!!!

I was gonna say that it looks very much like the same paint scheme as your 70 was, then I saw that it was the same shop that painted it. Looks great!!!

Sorry to see the 70 leave your hands but glad it is staying in "the family." Looks like a fun new ride.

I wished I could have afforded to keep the '70 and tow it to the track with this one.....why couldn't I be born rich?

Tracy, that truck looks great!. I have always liked that bodystyle customized. I wouldn't mind getting another one for my daily driver. Looks like you might be spending some time in the 88-98 forum now!......Jim
