I used a 4X8 and cut it down to 6.5 ft and just placed it in the bed...makes it easier to wash the axle and frame after hauling dirt. Course..I'm not worried about making the truck look super good yet either..but here's a picture anyhow.

Re: Pics of wood beds on a budget 'Plywood"
Interested to see others ideas. I too have a sheet cut to size and just lying in the bed. Its a temp fix until I get to that point of the build.
Currently I'm considering dismantling a skid and making the bed out of it until I do a full restore.

Re: Pics of wood beds on a budget 'Plywood"
Heres my temp bed. Until I can do it with stock runners and wood, I just bought some 6 foot fence boards and ran them sideways, the full length ones in front and back didnt even get cut, just screwed in place. Some Thompsons water seal on em, cost about 75 dollars,

Mines plywood, tubbed, roll pan, and the tailgate is molded shut but the plywood looks good with a spray in liner. Two pieces split right down the center.

Hi Perro, cant post pics on phone but in my build thread there are some pics of mine which has a few coats of body underseal on.
Will get replaced later with oak strips I still need to clean up and recycle.
