Adjusting frenched headlights
Had a guy contact me about how i did the headlights , so thought i would post it here while i had the pics up...
I used 53 mercury rings on our 51. Used stock buckets and everything, just simply modified a bit. Remove the two adjusting screws, cut a small slit in the bottom of the screw for screwdriver. Drill hole through the bucket, where the screw sits, hmmmmm. Thats it! Adjust from behind, put rubber plug in hole to keep it water tight.

THAT ROCKS and I wish I had seen it about 1980 when I first frenched my lights.

I looked and I'm not finding the stock style aftermarket ones with the stainless bezel in them anyplace at the moment

That is just the inner stainless ring in that add. I need one but no way am I paying 75 bucks for it. I'm going to have to have my buddy weld mine back together as he can weld anything made of stainless no matter how thick or thin.
