We'll I told myself no more but couldn't let it get away 1963 sb stepside ,,pretty straight very little rust all org 283 pg now to get to work

Looks a lot like the truck I was driving in High school. But it was only 12 years old at the time. Nice truck.

Your truck looks like a good one. Myself I would keep the power glide those trans are tough. I was drag racing one of my sons and he shifted too hard and put a powerglide in reverse at 70 mph. broke the engine mounts but didn't hurt the trans. My first truck I bought & paid for on my own was a 63 and I still have it or whats left of it. It can become addictive. Its been stated that when you have one of something you just a owner , two or more and you become a collector. more than a dozen and your a hoarder. Ive been passing up good deals for the last two years. And actually selling a few trucks & parts. It wasn't very hard for me to accumulate toomuch stuff because the wife was on board. She even bought some of them.
