87 factory a/c question
It seems like most or all the air blows out to the floor in every mode except defrost. I changed the control with another used one and does the same thing. My 91 Suburban blows a little out the bottom and alot out of the dash vents, cant get the truck to do that. Any suggestions? Not familiar with the inner workings so could be a door, diverter, or vacuum? Maybe a new control would fix it but wanted to see if there are any other items to check before spending the money. Thanks

Re: 87 factory a/c question
Found it. There is a plastic clip that attatches the rod to the door inside the evap box that directs the air,it is broken.Found a replacement at Classic Parts in KS.
