Thanks....They are listed under the same part # in the classic industries catalog ( CT 11009 ). Just wanted to make sure before I pull the trigger on a decent used one I located.

The mounting brackets are not the same. Do you have the correct ones?

I don't have the brackets yet....my truck came with a old step-up bumper that someone hacked up to fit the truck...really ugly. I'll be searching the parts board for the correct brackets. Thanks for your reply !

Re: Stepside Bumper Interchange ?

Classic Parts of America sells reproduction 67-72 bumper brackets in a set.
Most of the time a used set will cost the same money with the high price of shipping.

Thanks midniteblues....So...the rear brackets are the same (inner & outer) for stepside and fleetside for a 72 C-10 with coil springs , correct ?
Are the K-10 brackets different because of leaf springs ?

Yes.

Its the short bed leaf spring trucks that are different.
Short leaf sprung 2wd, 4x4, and 4x4 blazers that take a different inner bracket.

Thanks for all the great info. guys ! I just hate ordering the wrong parts for any project then having to return them when they don't fit.
