Re: ebay air ride bags

I'd stay away. They are the same company as "Air Baggit", generally junk products. This ad looks like they are trying to sound like "Dominator" which is a very good quality product.

Re: ebay air ride bags

I'm not a bag fan but agree with them in that go with a known name brand. I'm thinking Firestone pioneered bags on Semis and their trailers and then got into the bags for smaller vehicles. Some thing ifs you can cut corners on and get away with it but I doubt if that includes bags.

I'm on about 5 hot rod, custom and truck forums and the two things that cause the most side of the road breakdowns are the old Generators (which probably didn't get checked out before a road trip) and air bag suspension. This is one spot where you want to get the best you can get even if you have to save to do it.

Re: ebay air ride bags

I've gotten all my stuff for my trucks at WheelsNparts on ebay. Really good guys to deal with and I haven't had one problem. They are out of Arizona.

@Rednek13x

For my setup I got Firestone and Slam Specialties. Haven't got them installed yet but from talking with some local shops and professionals you don't want to go with a cheap bag.

Since you're in MN maybe give Nic at Crazy Talk Customs a call. He could recommend products for your specific project. He's easy to deal with and has good prices too. I bought all my air stuff from him.

Re: ebay air ride bags

Doms are decent bags but the 2600 are BIG and they balloon out when under pressure. They also ride pretty bouncy. I put 1000 miles on a set of those same bags and just recently switched them for Slam Specialty SS-7 bags for the reasons listed above.
