Im installing my suspension and have noticed my upper a arm bushings are shot I have called around for these and they all say needs to be special ordered. Does anyone know if other bushings will work ? like from a chevelle or anything ? thanks trying to get this done by tomorrow and any help would be apreciated.

Re: Upper A arm bushings for 72 c10
If your local parts places carry Moog, ask for part K6098. That's the whole upper cross shaft with bushings and grommets. If you don't want the whole shaft assembly (probably $40-$60 at a parts store, $25 from rockauto), truckancarshop.com sells just the steel bushings.

Re: Upper A arm bushings for 72 c10
Where did you end up getting it? I was going to go with PB arms when I do my static drop but I want to do this on the cheap for now. I can always swap arms out down the road if I feel like it. I haven't looked closely at my bushings but I can guarantee that they will need to be replaced.

Re: Upper A arm bushings for 72 c10
I was going to replace the arms but it started to really add up and Im right in the middle of an LS swap to boot. If you have never done your front end I gaurantee you they are bad unless a previous owner did them. Mine were so bad that there was probably an inch of slop side to side on both sides upper and lowers. I figured since got it apart might as well just replace it all, alignment shops wont even look at it if its got too much play.

I used this, but when I got it, there was a lot more to the kit. ALso everything was MOOG and in original boxes.
