Painless harness #10206

Im connecting all my "instrument panel section" wires this morning and need a switched power source. Since im not using a ammeter both wires #986 (Origin Fuse Panel to ammeter) and # 989 (origin ignition switch to ammeter are NOT being used. Can i use either of these 2 wires for a switched 12v source?

Re: Painless harness #10206

I believe it's actually intended for a voltage meter. If so you should be fine.
