Re: SOMEBODY BUY THIS!!!! Ebay..not mine.
seller says it has the semi rare 17.5 wheels I have NEVER seen a 17.5 wheel that was 3 piece...... that truck came out with 700-17 most likely has 750-17s now also head listing has it as a c10 ... and not much rust in the floor (yeah right)

66Submarine, not worried bout the drive my sis lives in cobb county,ga and i drive 10hr twice a month, but thats with a car i trust... plus that boom would need a wide load spotter on the freeway so i'll keep track and see what the final bid is

Re: SOMEBODY BUY THIS!!!! Ebay..not mine.
That is not a tow boom, it is a set of Gin Poles, most trucks like this were used in the oilfields, they usually have a 10,000lb winch buried in the bed of the truck (flush with the floor), the gin poles can usually fold forward after you take out the "A" frame which carries a snatch block. There is usally a toggle block attached to the rear of the bed in the center that routes the cable up ward........in a true oilfield bed there will also be a tail roller across the rear of the flat bed........ Still see a lot of these around Oklahoma and Texas.....Kieth |

Re: SOMEBODY BUY THIS!!!! Ebay..not mine.
Was looking at this one locally yesterday. Has a Holmes conversion on it. Owner says 66K original miles, custom cab and roof lights. One great looking rig.

Re: SOMEBODY BUY THIS!!!! Ebay..not mine.
Actually it's my truck, and for whatever reason I put 17.5 runs down on there lol but as far as the rust in the floor, there's about a 50 cent piece that's rusted through, everywhere else is solid. Family knew the truck since it was brand new. Original owner kept it inside many years until the shed started coming down so he sold it. One if the most solid truck I've seen, I never take into effect the fenders and inner fenders since about almost all of them need replaced. As for the gin poles, like stated before, they can be folded over the top if the truck. Rubs great, just realized I have a million projects And that is my 61 apache 4wd in the background.
