Backspacing for 15x6, 6 lug, front disc rear drum, stock height
Been doing some reading on backspacing - finding lots of confusing information (I think mostly because of folks large variety of setups). Thought I throw up my specifics and see if someone could assist.
I am trying to verify that a 15x6, 6 lug rim with 3.75 backspacing will fit my 69' with the disc conversion up front and drums in the back. It's a driver so matching all 4 corners for rotation is desired. Here are the rims i'm considering: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wv...6334/overview/ Side note: Anyone ever done a special order through Wheel Vintiques? I am wanting to run white rallys - and I can't decide if I should special order through them or have my shop powdercoat them after the fact. |

They are listed as pre 1971, which is prior to disc brakes. I would look for 1971 and later wheels.

Listed as "pre-'71" because they are 6-lug.

steel wheels ive seen usually have a good bit more room around them then aluminum. i have 15x8 with 3.75 aluminum on my 4x4 had had to grind the caliper bracket just a bit to clear them.
