Issaquah Truck Show Pictures

I met Old Iron and SteveB at the Issaquah WA XXX truck show. It was a good show, small enough that you could talk to everyone but large enough to get some interest. A number of nice 71-72's showed up. I did not see anything from 67-70.

We met a couple of future board members that are addicted like the rest of us. One picture I did not get was a 72 Cheyenne Super long box, two wheel drive. The guy bought it at a Barrett Jackson auction, I believe in Reno. Paid $20,000 for it. Nice truck, fully restored. He was happy with it.

On with the pictures. First up is Steveb's 2 wheel drive blazer. That is Steve relaxing while his significant other polishes!

Steve just bought the blazer ini Phoenix and also owns a Jimmy I believe

Here is a picture of a red 72 shortbox Cheyenne Super. Truck is for sale, $19,500 is the asking price. Says it is a matching number small block The paint is about 10 years old but shows only minor wear. (You can see overspray on some parts but overall the truck was very nice.)

Here is a picture of my truck (blue and white 4X), Old Iron (Green Burb) and a nonmember who owns a 71 shortbox Cheyenne Super. You will see more pictures of his truck, 46,000 original miles with the original seat cover and spare tire. (It did go through an extensive restoration.)

A nother nonmember truck joined us. He just completed restoring the truck, a K20 Cheyenne, his dad bought new. Beautiful job of restoration. Has a wood bed and aftermarket AC. I asked if his dad took good care of the truck. He said --ll no, he beat the heck out of it. The motorcycle in the back has also been in the family since 1969.

I just bought a 69 3/4 ton 4x4 longbed that I want to restore to the same colors and style as your truck. I would love some more shots of it from the side as well as any other angles. You can e-mail them to me so that I get the best quality, or you can post so everyone gets to enjoy. I have to say that is one incredible truck, no arguments from me about the #1.

My wife and I showed up just in time to see chevy71super's truck pulling out of the parking lot. By the time we walked up to the trucks, the stock truck was pulling out followed by the red one. I didn't ge a close look at any of them Next year for sure!
