wiring
does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1964 chevy c20 pickup that's converted to 12 volt system that they would be kind enough to send me the pages? I'm not sure if I need a new harness or not and can't seem to find the proper diagram online. thanks guys!

Re: wiring
converted to a 12 volt system?
I'm pretty sure they were 12v stock... with a generator. check the electrical threads in the 60-66 FAQ Index. Also, the 60-66 truck links in the External Links, Section 3 area. -W |

Re: wiring
Yep by 1964 they were all 12 volt and even had alternators, too!

anyway, the previous owner * attempted * to install a new harness but ended up n***er rigging everything and just left it all hanging in a giant electrical tape mess under the dash, fuel and temp gauge don't work ( could be sending unit or again a ground or power issue ) its a huge mess, ill post pictures later tonight |
